Version 6.12.0-3 - 2026-09-13

• Improved the map painting technique to remove seams when borders are off.
• EU IV map: added the ability to color all countries as they appear at the start of the game in 1444. You can find the option in the Scripts section.
• Africa detailed/World Subdivisions: added Lim-Pendé and Mambéré provinces to Central African Republic.
• You can now select to use up to 8 columns in the map's legend (compared to maximum of 4 columns previously).
• US Congressional Districts map: updated with Louisiana's (LA) new districts (enacted on May 29, 2026) and Missouri's (MO) new districts (enacted on September 29, 2025).
• Fixed an issue where trying to update a map when exactly 25 maps were saved would result in an error for non-premium users.

• The Asia map has been completely redone to improve its visual quality and geographic accuracy (cleaner country shapes, better coastal detail, and a more accurate Asia–Europe continental boundary).
• This update also affects the Asia detailed and Europe detailed maps:
  • Updated the Asia–Europe continents boundary to match the new Asia map.
  • Some subdivisions were added, removed, or split into different units.
  • If you load an older configuration, some regions may appear uncolored and will need to be recolored manually.

• Show uncolored in the legend: Add a legend entry for regions that still use the default map color: perfect for "No data", "Unclaimed", and similar labels. Turn it on under Customize > Legend.
• Patterns in the Random color script: The Random color script can now use patterns as well as solid colors, so you can randomly paint the map with either.
• Europe detailed/World subdivisions: fixed borders of Veszprém county in Hungary.

• The Australia electoral divisions map 🇦🇺 has been updated with the 2024 federal redistribution boundaries. Valid for the upcoming elections. You can still switch to the previous version.

  • On the website, after editing your map, go to Step 3 > Save/Load Map Configuration.
  • In the Export to app tab, click the Generate QR Code button.
  • Use one of these methods to scan the QR code:
    • Open your device's camera and point it at the QR code.
    • Or, in the app, go to My Maps and tap the QR icon button in the top-right corner.
  • The map will automatically load in the app.
